YWCA Mahoning Valley - Warren Office

YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Every year, YWCA Mahoning Valley participates in Stand Against Racism, an annual campaign of YWCA USA to raise awareness of the impacts of racism on our communities and bring people together to work towards racial justice. This year's theme, "No Hate, No Fear", encourages us to explore the way immigration practices are harming communities of color and the fabric of our society as a whole.

YWCA Mahoning Valley will dig into this topic on Thursday, April 25 with a panel discussion featuring immigration activists, legislators, and lawyers.

On Saturday, April 27, join YWCA Mahoning Valley at our Warren office (375 N. Park Ave.) for an informative session with Veronica Dahlberg of HOLA Ohio. Ms. Dahlberg is the Founder and Executive Director of HOLA, a grassroots Latino/a network serving people throughout northeast Ohio. Ms. Dahlberg will facilitate a workshop on supporting families experiencing immigration hardships. Additional speakers will be announced.

This event is free and open to the public but RSVPs are appreciated. Light refreshments will be served.
